Der Spaziergang wird bei jedem Wetter durchgeführt.

They where gone for many years - herons.  Now, after the city government decided to bring back same nature to the small river running through my hometown (in my youth it was just a concrete channel) I found this guy in the middle of the town, close to a busy road junction...

[RE]VISIONS

Works from my archive again (this ones are from November 2012). Revisions. Photography is so much about interpredations. Depending on your mood, or new visions you have, new ideas, or maybe also because your skill have grown, working on older files always will bring completly different results. One more side-effect, at least for me: It didractsyou from all the problems you may have at the moment...

Again Ansel Adams was right: "The negative is the equivalent of the composer's score, and the print the performance". Only nowadays you have RAWs and much more possibilidies.

I reworked this pictures because at the moment I am choosing and selecting pictures for my upcoming retrospective exhibition in May 2017.

Never forget...

KRISTALLNACHT

"Kristallnacht" was the pogrom against Jews throughout Germany on 9–10 November 1938. The name Kristallnacht comes from the shards of broken glass that littered the streets after Jewish-owned stores, buildings, and synagogues had their windows smashed. Over 1,000 synagogues were burned (95 in Vienna alone) and over 7,000 Jewish businesses destroyed or damaged, about 400 Jews were murdered and 30.000 were deported to concentration camps (many hundrets died there) not only by the SS or the SA but also by "normal" Germans...
